A group of purple tulips make a perfectly dreamy, soft-focus bokeh abstract ideal for any feminine decor.
Fragile Confidence
This weekend I sat down in a field of tulips and listened.
I heard thousands upon thousands of petals clapping against each other in the breeze.
It was quite a magnificent sound that only my ears could hear. The other people in the field walked, meandered, scolded children, took family snap shots and moved on, but I sat still between the well-manicured rows listening to the tulips softy extol with a unified voice.
"Congratulations on the success you've had so far and for the successes you are about to have."
That was when I realized the applause was just for me.
I stood to honor their perfect posture.
I bowed, "Thank you, tulips. Thank you for believing in me."
