Artist's Description
I was fortunate to be able to go to the Dominican Republic and stay on an all inclusive resort called Cap Cana. It was one of only three times crossing open waters. Flying over the water and over all the islands before the DR was amazing. White sand beaches, turquoise waters, blue skies, tropical rain, and palm trees. Out on that water, I used a paddle board for the first time and sailed on a boat. The empoyees at that resort were beyond gracious and always asked how we were doing and would respond with, "excellente!"
This was painted from one of the photos I took while walking around on the resort.
