The seagulls are getting restless with nobody around to feed them their daily bread scraps.
When I went to photograph them, these opportunists came right up to my camera lens and ominously peered into it...no they didn't.
I have always wondered why people sit at a beach in their car to enjoy a view while feeding seagulls scraps which causes more seagulls to flock to their car demanding scraps, block their beautiful view and leaving a thank you note by crapping on their car.
This painting was originally painted in April 2020. When everything was shut down including going to beaches. Those poor addicted-to-french fry opportunistic birds had to go cold turkey.

Expressive Portraits Of Animals And People: Jani is an award winning water media/graphite artist who paints and draws people and animals in a loose, painterly style she calls impressionistic realism. "I love playing interesting colors against each other; creating movement and texture with all the different medias mixing the medias as needed to add another layer of character and depth. It fits my adventurous spirit." She intentionally leaves a little to the viewer's imagination so they can be a part of her emotive, story-telling artwork. Jani is accomplished in a variety of medias and offers her fine art skills for pet portrait commissions in graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil. More Here. COMMISSIONS/LICENSING: E-MAIL...
