Description
While waiting for my turn to be juried for a gallery in Winslow, Washington, I had the good fortune of a sun break in the clouds and decided to take a walk along the local marina. It had been cloudy and rainy.
While walking along the boardwalk, I noticed the beautiful abstract shapes that the boats created in the water. This one is from a red catamaran. It caught my eye on the way back to my car. I didn't see it on the way to the boats because the sharp lighting was silhouetting the shape of this boat. It was only when the sun was at my back that I could see the beautiful red shapes contrasting against the blue water.
