A stand of birch trees clinging to the remainder of its leaves.

After passing a vignette of birch trees I felt inspired to create them from memory. I ended up painting more the mood that it gave me than what the trees actually looked like. There is something magical about deciduous trees in the fall. One day they are veiled with greenery and another day they are shinning in their full and colorful glory.
