Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

My version of the portrait supplied by another artist here at FAA for a contest he created for Fine Art America. The background is watercolor paper that I toned with Quinacridone Gold and Burnt Sienna paint. After the paint dried, I painted the girl with pastels.
I like to do photo-realism, but I prefer to paint with emotion. That comes through most of my pieces through the colors I choose and the sweep of my brush strokes. This time, however, it is in the eyes and the welcoming golden color.
