A local gallery asked me to design the back of playing cards that they will be selling for a charity. She wanted it to have a Port Orchard theme so I put things in the design that represent Port Orchard. See if you can find them:
1. Blue Herons
2. Starfish
3. Sand dollars (visible in full version)
4. Anchors - representing the marinas and view of the naval shipyards
5. Salmon.
6. Totem poles - representing the local Indians
7. Eagles - there are many Bald Eagles that live by the water
8. Clouds - it does rain a lot here (or so foreigners say.)
9. Crab and crabpot - representing commercial fishing and private pots
10. Waves - Port Orchard sits along The Sound. The tide comes in and out all day long
11. My name - gotta sign it somewhere (visible in the full version. This is a half view).

Expressive Portraits Of Animals And People: Jani is an award winning water media/graphite artist who paints and draws people and animals in a loose, painterly style she calls impressionistic realism. "I love playing interesting colors against each other; creating movement and texture with all the different medias mixing the medias as needed to add another layer of character and depth. It fits my adventurous spirit." She intentionally leaves a little to the viewer's imagination so they can be a part of her emotive, story-telling artwork. Jani is accomplished in a variety of medias and offers her fine art skills for pet portrait commissions in graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil. More Here. COMMISSIONS/LICENSING: E-MAIL...
