Artist's Description
An after market hood ornament of a curvaceous and nude, winged lady nymph graces the hood of a 1961 Nash Metropolitan Coupe.
A great piece of art for the car enthusiast.
Recently, while photographing classic cars, an older lady came up to me and said, "My dad used to have a Nash. I loved that car."
I told her that I actually have photographed one. Just the hood ornament though. I liked how the chrome art deco winged goddess looked blue against the white hood.
She said nodding her head, "Men sure liked that hood ornament. I remember them always grabbing her boobs."
I remember that they made her with wings, curvy and very much a classy lady, but I don't recall seeing this chrome goddess's boobs. Next time I do see this hood ornament, you can bet I'll be looking for them first thing. And you can bet I'll be asking the owner if anyone tries to touch her boobs, but I'll ask in a classy way.
