Impressionistic watercolor painting of a sunsetting over The Puget Sound as viewed from West Seattle. Dipped my paintbrush into freshly squeezed out watercolor paint to capture the full power of each color, then, brushed onto wet paper.
It is common to see a sunset like in the Puget Sound area. The Puget Sound is a body of water in the Seattle, Washington area. A salt water inlet extending from the top of the Peninsula, Port Angeles down to as far as Tacoma, Washington. Fingers of the inlet extend into Gig Harbor communities, Port Orchard, Silverdale, Poulsbo, and more.
